URGENT ALERT: Beware of Fraudulent Website Claiming NADCA Affiliation

Posted on 04/18/2024

ATTENTION ALL NADCA MEMBERS

We have become aware of a concerning issue that demands immediate attention from our entire community. A fraudulent website is falsely claiming affiliation with NADCA and our Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) exam and certification process. This site is misleading individuals by offering test preparation materials that are not only unauthorized by NADCA but also contain incorrect information, leading to confusion and financial loss.

Please be advised that any materials, especially those pertaining to test preparation for the ASCS exam, not distributed directly through NADCA's official channels are not endorsed or recognized by our organization.

Efforts to resolve this issue:

  • We have issued numerous cease and desist letters to the operators of the fraudulent site.
  • Direct contact has been made with their web hosting service to demand the site's removal.
  • We will continue our relentless efforts until this site removes claims of affiliation with NADCA and the ASCS exam.

What This Means for You and Your Technicians:

  • Do NOT use or purchase any test preparation materials from external websites claiming NADCA affiliation.
  • Ensure all study materials for NADCA certifications are obtained directly through our official website or authorized providers.
  • Stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities or websites that may seem affiliated with NADCA but are not listed on our official site.

How to Protect Yourself:

  • Verify all information and materials through our official NADCA website.
  • Encourage your technicians and staff to communicate openly about any resources they plan to use for certification preparation.
  • If in doubt, please get in touch with NADCA directly for verification and guidance.

We understand the frustration and potential harm caused by such deceptive practices and are committed to supporting our members through this challenge. We are working diligently to combat this issue and protect our community from fraudulent schemes.

Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter and for your ongoing vigilance. Together, we can prevent these scams from affecting our dedicated professionals.
