Consumer Information Overview
NADCA’s dedication to quality assurance helps ensure and promote a higher standard of performance for all NADCA members. Quality assurance also provides a means of consumer education, through tips on how to select a qualified contractor, establishing performance checklists, and adopting policy of full disclosure for its member contractors.

All members are required to perform work in accordance with NADCA Standards. As part of its Quality Assurance Program, NADCA provides information about how to select a qualified contractor along with pre - and post-cleaning checklists to ensure that total system cleaning is performed.

NADCA requires that all member companies have at least one certified Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) on staff to ensure that all cleaning is accordance with NADCA Standards and
Guidelines.

NADCA currently offres the following certifications for its members:
Air system cleaning specialists (ASCS) have passed the NADCA certification exam demonstrating knowledge and understanding of HVAC system cleaning, NADCA Standards, safety practices, and more.
Certified Ventilation Inspectors (CVI) have undergone training based on the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) I-Beam program for conducting building IAQ inspections. A passing grade on the certification exam demonstrates knowledge and understanding of inspecting HVAC systems, diagnosing IAQ problems, and reporting findings to the customer.
Ventilation System Mold Remediators (VSMR) have undergone training and passed a rigorous examination demonstrating knowledge and understanding of basic microbiological agents, how to perform project assessments, and the proper methods for remediating mold within an HVAC system, according to industry guidelines and standards..
 
 
NADCA certification is recognized around the world as the benchmark for trained and qualified professionals. Through NADCA certification, NADCA members demonstrate their knowledge and proficiency in conducting HVAC assessments, cleaning, and restoration services.
