Affiliate membership is available to INDIVIDUALS who represent government entities,non-profit associations, and academic institutions.Professional engineers,architects, home inspectors,industrial hygienists, and facilities maintenance professionals are also eligible for Affiliate Membership. Individuals or firms offering HVAC cleaning service to the public, or those offering products or services for sale to HVAC cleaning companies, ARE NOT ELIGIBLE for Affiliate Membership. In recognition of my obligation to the public and the profession, as a NADCA member I agree to comply with the following articles:
  1. I certify that I do not engage in the service of HVAC system cleaning.
  2. I certify that I do not engage in the sale of products to those who perform HVAC system cleaning.
  3. I will serve my customers with integrity and competence.
  4. I will be honest and forthright in my advertising.
  5. I support and promote NADCA’s standards and guidelines for HVAC system cleaning practices.
  6. I will provide services only after completing the necessary bonding and licensing procedures.
  7. I will utilize the services and products of those who possess specialized skills, tools, or trades not possessed by myself when circumstances call for work to be done that I am unable to perform.
  8. I will stay abreast of new developments in technology, tools of the trades, building codes, the Uniform Mechanical Code, and any other codes or information that directly affects my work.
  9. I will uphold to the best of my ability the NADCA Guidelines and the Code of Ethics as they apply to my scope of work.
  10. I will perform my services in accordance with the current published standards of the association as they apply to my scope of work.
I understand that the NADCA Ethics Committee shall hear and investigate charges of unethical conduct between concerned parties, and will make recommendations to the Board of Directors concerning the resolution of those charges.
